Mahzooz, the most popular lottery draw in the UAE, is now creating ripples with “new ventures”, as stated by its managing operator Ewings on Sunday. This becomes possible after the announcement of The Game LLC as the first licensed national lottery operator in the UAE.
Ewings’ statement says, “Although the national lottery license has not been awarded to us in the UAE, of course, we will be planning very exciting new ventures and will share more details soon.”
Earlier this year, both the organizations had halted the operations of Mahzooz and Emirates Draw as per a directive from the government. Both agencies announced to Khaleej Times that they have completed the formalities to obtain a license to operate as UAE licensed operator.

In its announcement on Sunday, the GCGRA said that the new regulations would protect consumers while ensuring commercial fairness and transparency for all activities, including lotteries. According to the website of The Game LLC., it would offer a “diverse range” of lottery and other games “designed to cater to players’ variety of interests and financial preferences”.
The New Year’s statement by the Ewings said Mahzooz had achieved: in summary, we take this opportunity to repeat the 161 lucky draws, which we have successfully operated over more than three years, turning millions of lives, such as 66 millionaires created and more than 2 million players graced with more than AED 500 million.
